逆子は鍼灸治療で効果の出やすい症例です。鍼灸治療、特に灸治療には症状に一対一で効果を発揮する経穴(いわゆる「つぼ」)がいくつかあるのですが、逆子における「至陰」と呼ばれる足の小指の先の経穴がそれのひとつになります。至陰への逆子の灸自体は2、3分で終了してしまいますが、それ単独よりも全身の鍼灸治療を行った後の方が効果が高まりますので、逆子の灸のみ、または、安産の灸のみ、という施術は当院では行っておりません。鍼灸治療か鍼灸整体治療の枠内で行います。
治療回数は1回から3回位です。3回以上かかる場合には、鍼灸治療では対応できない原因の場合があります。体調が安定していて、8ヶ月目くらいまでなら概ね施術可能です。それ以降の週数になると胎児が大きくなってお腹の中で回転しづらくなります。
安産の灸と治療の灸は違います。冷えを取る、体調管理や安産のため、などのために自宅で灸をすることはおすすめしますが、逆子など「治療」を目的にした自宅灸は不測の事態を招く恐れがありますのでお控え下さい。
Is it possible to treat reverse children?
Reverse child is a case that is easy to be effective in acupuncture and moxibustion treatment. There are several meridians (the so-called “tsubo”) that are effective one-on-one for acupuncture and moxibustion treatment, especially moxibustion treatment, but the meridians on the tip of the little toe, which is called “Shiyin” in retrograde, is one of them. The moxibustion of the reverse child to the yin itself ends in a few minutes, but the effect is higher after acupuncture and moxibustion treatment of the whole body than it alone, so our hospital does not perform only the moxibustion of the reverse child or only the moxibustion of the safe delivery. It will be carried out within the framework of acupuncture and moxibustion treatment or acupuncture and chiropractic treatment.
The number of treatments is about 1 to 3 times. If it takes more than 3 times, there may be a cause that acupuncture treatment cannot handle. The physical condition is stable, and the treatment is generally possible until about the 8th month. After that, the fetus will become larger and difficult to rotate in the stomach.
The moxibustion of safe delivery and the moxibustion of treatment are different. It is recommended to do moxibustion at home to get cold, to take care of your physical condition, and to have a safe delivery, but please refrain from moxibustion at home for the purpose of “treatment” such as reverse child, as it may lead to unforeseen circumstances.
